James Dickey in The New York Quarterly

The New York Quarterly is an amazing, intelligent, crazy, creative, strange, and indispensable magazine. William Packard surely must be one of the great editors of our time.
óJames Dickey

A true friend of NYQ since its inception, James Dickey was the subject of an NYQ craft interview in Issue 10, and in 1977 NYQ hosted a Tribute to James Dickey at the Hotel Pierre in New York City. Issue 21 contains photos and other coverage of the event.
