Jacque Forsher

Jacque Forsher's creative style and preference for bold colors developed early on. When she was a child, her father worked at a tire manufacturing plant and often came home from work with the red and yellow wax stubs that he used to mark the rubber tires with, tucked in a pocket. The not-quite-crayons would ultimately find their way into the art tin, resulting in a color selection that consisted mostly of warm colors.

Although her preference for color and mediums of choice have progressed through the years, Forsher continues to work with a strong color palette and believes it was her early introduction to primary colors that makes her comfortable using bold colors in her current work.
