The New York Quarterly Foundation, Inc. (“NYQ”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) has prepared this Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) to explain our practices and the choices you have with respect to the collection, use and disclosure of any information collected during your visit to our web sites, nyqfoundation.org, nyquarterly.org, nyqbooks.org, poetscraft.com, nyqpoets.net, nyqreadingseries.com, and poetryis.org (collectively and individually, the “Web Site”). This Privacy Policy covers only information collected by us at the Web Sites and does not cover any information collected by us offline.

Categories of Personally Identifiable Information We Collect.

Generally, you may browse our Web Site without providing any personally identifiable information. However, we may ask that you provide information, including personally identifiable information, at various times and locations on the Web Site. For example, if you would like to receive our newsletters, we will ask you to provide your e-mail address. We may grant access to non-public areas of the NYQPoets.net Web site to individuals whose writing, artwork or other materials have been published in the New York Quarterly magazine, and other individuals as we may designate from time to time, if such individuals have successfully completed our online registration process and have agreed to certain terms and conditions (each a “member”). We may use personal information of members as provided in this Privacy Policy.

Use and Disclosure of Your Personally Identifiable Information.

When you provide us with information about you, we may use such information to notify you of promotions and special events and provide you with other information that may be of interest to you, such as through our e-mail newsletter. We may also use your personally identifiable information to manage our member registry, fulfill and bill your orders, and communicate with you about the status of orders or other administrative issues.
